My name is Anton Egorov, and I currently live in Berlin, Germany. I've been passionate about art from a very young age. My mother enrolled me in art classes as a child, and when I turned 18 and was trying to figure out my future, I stumbled upon a VFX student’s work on a message board and instantly fell in love with it.
I completed my bachelor’s program and embarked on my freelance journey as an artist. Since then, I've worked on a diverse range of projects, both big and small, with a variety of clients. In 2017, I pursued my dream of becoming a writer and wrote my first graphic novel called "Willa."
I successfully kickstarted the first issue, but I realized that the aspect of the project I enjoyed the most was the writing. Since finishing the story, I’ve been waiting for the inspiration to continue illustrating it, though I hope to one day collaborate with other artists on it.
Along the way, several team members told me I was a good teacher and had a knack for conveying knowledge, which led me to discover my passion for teaching. For the past four years, I’ve been a VFX tutor at Catalyst - Berlin, while balancing my time with personal and client work.
While teaching, I made it my mission to stay up-to-date for my students and not teach them outdated workflows like those I was taught in college. I had to learn the hard way when I started working for clients.
In recent years, I’ve fallen in love with Unreal Engine 5 (though this love affair started with UE 4.26). Lately, I’ve been working on my own short narrative horror game called "Unlooped."
Throughout my career, I’ve realized that my greatest passion is storytelling. Whether it’s writing short stories, screenplays, lesson plans, or creating 3D environments and using assets as storytelling mediums, this drive is what motivates me to continuously learn and explore new skills.
